GRT-Metro Integration
The Guangzhou BRT offers excellent potential for integration with the metro. Passengers will be able to move conveniently between metro and BRT stations, with direct physical connections at Shipai Qiao, Gangding and Chebei.
Mass transit network development
The BRT corridors will be part of a plan to develop BRT to form a city-wide mass transit network with the Metro.
Metro integration at BRT stations
The BRT system will be physically integrated with the Guangzhou Metro, making it easy and convenient for passengers to transfer between the two systems. At three locations on the corridor (Shipai Qiao, Gangding and Chebei) the Phase I BRT system will have a physical connection with Metro lines 3 and 4.
