广州的快速公交系统(广州BRT)是快速公交(BRT)的改良和更新系统。第一阶段将在2010年二月10日投入运营。广州BRT不仅可为广州的公交乘客和地铁乘客带来巨大的收益,也可使公交运营商和普通大众均得到受益。一期走廊--中山大道上的通勤乘客每天可节省近乎1个小时的时间,乘坐公交将得到完全不同的全新感受。 广州的广州BRT高峰小时单向客流约2.3万人次,是亚洲其他BRT系统运量的3倍以上,并就运营速度和服务质量而言,也比亚洲的其他系统更好、更快。
